Indiana congressman welcomes Elkhart jobs announcement

ELKHART -- Indiana Congressman Joe Donnelly was one of the first officials to test drive a new Think City car from Th!nk North America, following an announcement yesterday that a new plant will bring more than 400 jobs to the Elkhart region.
Appearing on WNDU-TV's Morning News show today, Donnelly told the hosts he felt the electric vehicles offer plenty of room and they are very quiet. Donnelly said the new factory will further help the Michiana region because 70 percent of the vehicle's parts will be made locally.
“When you combine this with the great news we’ve had out of the recreational vehicle industry of all the jobs coming back, these are great steps forward for Elkhart County and also for our entire region,” Donnelly told WNDU.
